Madeline Holven is a Graphic Designer at the student-run Flagship Design Studio at Sacramento City College. She discovered her love for graphic arts in childhood, and pursued this passion by studying Graphic Communications at Sacramento City College. She excels in printed media, and is capable of interactive design and web design. She spent two years on the staff of Sacramento City College’s award winning newspaper, the Express, concluding her final year as a Design Editor. She has had her work featured in art galleries, design shows, businesses and online.

Her work is a product of her background in fine arts, emphasizing strong visual elements and original artwork while maintaining a careful editorial eye. Her design philosophy follows a user-first philosophy, leading her work towards designs that are intuitive and evocative.

When she’s not designing, she is also an avid DIYer and a part-time kitty servant with her fiancé.
